How to create an open booking
Create an open match and find partners
An open match (or open reservation) is a booking where you leave some places free: other members with a similar level can join it by paying their share. It is very handy for padel, which is played by four.
Open matches are only offered if your club has enabled them for this sport. You can only be in charge of one incomplete open match at a time.
Enter your level
First, enter your level in My profile, card Information requested by the club (for example Niveau de padel), then click Save. Without a level, the message “Open reservation unavailable” is shown instead of the option.
Also fill in your title (Mrs / Mr) and your phone number: they are used for matches reserved for women or men and for WhatsApp contact.
Set up the match
On the Reserve page, click a free slot. In the booking panel:
- choose the number of players (for example 4);
- turn on Create an open reservation ;
- in Match type, choose Public (the match is visible to all members) or Private (only people who receive your link can join);
- in Open to, choose Mixed (all), Women or Men ;
- if you wish, tick Players may contact me on WhatsApp: your number will be visible to anyone viewing the match;
- add any partners already planned and leave the other lines on Place ouverte.

Players who can join your match have a level close to yours: the accepted gap is set by the club (two levels by default). You do not choose it.
Confirm and pay your share
You only pay your share, and that of the people you add yourself. Choose your payment method if the booking is not free, then click Create an open match.
Share the link
A window confirms the creation and offers to share the match link: Share via WhatsApp, Copy the link or Share…, depending on your device. You will find the Share via WhatsApp button again by opening your booking on the planner.
A public match also appears on the planner with a colour and a badge showing the free places, and on the page Available Reservations (see How to join an open match).
Only the person in charge of the match can change Match type and Open to after creation, or delete the whole booking. They also see every player's price; the other players only see their own share.
