If your club accepts online registrations, you can become a member directly on its booking site, without going through the office.

On the club's booking site, click Register as a member. A window asks what you want to do: click Become a club member. The other choice, Sign Up for the Lesson, leads to lesson sign-up (see Sign up for a tennis lesson).

• Yes, I already have an account: you already have a Plugin account at another club. Log in with that username to become a member of this club: you will keep a single account for all your clubs.
• No, create an account: fill in the registration form.

The form is divided into sections:

• Identity: photo (if the club asks for one), gender, date of birth, first name, last name, e-mail address;
• Contact details: choose the country, then type your address and pick it in the list; the postcode and town fill in by themselves;
• Sign-in: the username and password of your future account;
• Communications: the language and the e-mails you want to receive;
• the information requested by your club;
• Membership: the membership chosen for each season;
• Family: the Add family member button signs up your children or relatives at the same time, linked to your account.

If the club has terms and conditions, tick the box to accept them (the link lets you read them). Finally, confirm with the button Register as a member.

Depending on the club's setting:

• your registration is confirmed at once and you can log in;
• or it is a pre-registration: the club checks it and sends you an e-mail with the next steps.
